Conservatives in Warren County, Virginia, are celebrating after regional party leaders officially overturned a fraudulent local election that previously enabled establishment figures to seize control. The pivotal reversal follows a successful appeal brought by ousted committee members who united to challenge severe voting irregularities.

Approximately two dozen members of Virginia’s Sixth District Republican Committee convened in Fisherville to review the formal appeal. The challenge was filed by Scott Lloyd, a former Trump administration official who had contested the local chairmanship against attorney David Silek.

Silek and his allies have faced sharp criticism from local conservatives and grassroots activists who labeled them establishment figures. Critics point to local controversies, including Silek's vocal opposition to Christian conservatives protesting adult-themed library books for children.
