Federal agents arrested Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate Raymond Chandler in Pittsburgh following allegations that he threatened to assassinate Donald Trump and a member of Congress.
According to federal court affidavits, Chandler allegedly left two threatening voicemails on April 18 and April 29, citing extreme wealth concentration as his core justification for violence.
Prosecutors stated that the suspect specifically urged an unidentified lawmaker to kill Trump, while also hurling severe political insults against the former president.
