Veteran Justice Department prosecutor Andrew Haden, 48, was found dead Wednesday inside an office at the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building in downtown San Diego following a missing-person report.
San Diego police officers responded to the federal facility late Wednesday evening after receiving the initial alert regarding his disappearance.
Investigators confirmed that Haden was discovered inside the offices of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California.
