At least two people died and several were injured during a violent shooting at a Minneapolis apartment building on Wednesday evening. Three police officers sustained injuries while responding to the chaotic active shooter scene.
Officers exchanged gunfire with the unidentified suspect before the gunman was confirmed dead at the location. Police leadership stated that authorities were already familiar with the dangerous individual involved in the attack.
